Jake Latendresse
Jake Latendresse was born and raised in the wildlife rich river bottoms of west Tennessee, where his father introduced him to hunting when he was three years old. With an early passion for waterfowl hunting, Jake went on his first deer hunt when he was eleven years old...and successfully harvested his first deer. Soon after, he talked his mother into buying him a Bear Whitetail Hunter...then at the age of sixteen, he got his first real compound bow (PSE Thunder Flight) and the obsession began. Twenty-five years later, his desire still burns as hot as ever.
Since 2003, Jake has been a proud member of The Wild Outdoors pro-staff team. This unique opportunity has provided him with the ability to chase big game and wild turkeys across North America with his archery equipment and video camera. "I am so proud to be a part of Jay and Tammi's team and I'm just thankful for the opportunity." As much as he likes to hunt, Jake says he also has a strong passion for high quality film making. "I really love to go out into the wild outdoors in an attempt to find rare experiences with animals...and capture it on film. Once you capture a moment with a mature animal, no one can ever take that away from you. It becomes more than a memory, as you can relive that moment forever."
His video work can also be seen on RNT-V and the Super Retriever Series television shows...with more projects in the works.
In his real life, Jake owns and operates the oldest bar in Ft. Collins, Colorado...the famous Town Pump (est. 1909). "You are all welcome at the Town Pump. Stop in and see me sometime." Along with the Town Pump, he also runs his freelance art, video and photography company...Microburst Productions, also located in Ft. Collins.
"There is nothing more satisfying than being able to work with such a strong team as The Wild Outdoors, and the best aspect of all is...we bow hunt everything!!"
