Wild Outdoors

I grew up on a farm in Blackwater Mo. , and have numerous archery turkeys and around 80 whitetail deer to my credit. I was taught to hunt by my Father and started hunting when I was 8 years old, killing my first deer at age 11 in 1957. Hunting and conservation is still very important to me. Deer were scarce back then and everyone who goes a field today is truly lucky to have the fine equipment, quantity and quality of wildlife we have today. After graduating High School I pursued a career in Law Enforcement that lasted 34 years and retired from the Mo. State Highway Patrol in 1998. I am married to Nancy and we live on a farm near Weatherby , Mo. Where I farm and own and operate Jim’s Taxidermy along with my youngest son Wes. We have four children, Diana, Wayne, Wesley and Jenna I was given the opportunity to film with the Wild Outdoors since 2008 and truly proud to be associated with Jay, Tammi, Wyatt and Ryan and to call them my friends, along with all the other fine Pro Staff members on this team.
